The Zen Park

An embodiment of simplicity, this Modern Zen home design is clean and unadorned. For this project, the client wanted something Zen and Muji-like, a haven to retreat to after a long day of work.

 

Upon entering the unit, the essence of Japanese minimalism and aesthetics immediately floods the eye and mind. The living area sets the tone and feel of the whole house with the classic Muji colour combination, predominantly wood and white palette with grey accents.

 

The main highlight of the design is the bar area by the window designed to cater to the client’s lifestyle, a space to work and chill at the same time. The wooden panel accentuates the ceiling creating a frame, making it the focal point to the living space and further enhances the Zen atmosphere. Overall, the design in the other areas such as the bedroom and dining area conforms to the whole concept to give the feeling of minimalist and comfort.
